The supply chain extension to the shop provides an advanced stock management system that allows for individual item tracking and permits the creation of shipments which can be handled by a variety of different couriers.
With the Supply Chain module installed, stock is managed automatically by the module, and shipments are used to introduce adjustments to the stock levels. An upgraded version of the stock report is made available, along with a new "Stock Value Report", which shows the cost, taxes, etc on products currently held in stock. The shop items listing is also revised to show stock levels.
